After starting the Stone of Tears more than a week ago, I am happy to say I was not bored at anytime during the story even though is was over seven hundred pages and had small font. I can’t believe I just said that. Usually I get bored sometime during the book if a book was that long and had a bunch of information in it. I think that Terry Goodkind has a knack for letting his readers not get bored of his books. At least, he did not make me bored but I don’t know about you.
The veil that has separated the underworld and the living world has just been torn. Darken Rahl, sent to the underworld by his own son is back, has begun to summon a sinister power no one can ever imagine. Richard Cypher, the Seeker, who just learned about his heritage, must learn to accept and control his new found power and also send Darken Rahl and his undead minions back into the underworld where they belong. Kahlan, on the other hand, has to journey to Aydindril to stop her lands from going to war. Richard and Kahlan have to separate for who knows how long without seeing each other. Will they succeed in each of their quests or will they never see each other again in the living world?
I haven't read any of those books but I know that it's a long series full of long books. I have seen a couple of episodes from the tv show (Legend of the Seeker). :)
