By: Jerry B. Jenkins and Chris FabryThe Book of the King, by Jerry B. Jenkins and Chris Fabry, is a great book to read. At first, when I looked at it, it seemed like a books that no one really wanted to read and after I read the back, it sounded sort of boring, but I read it anyways and I did not regret it. I would give this fantasy novel a rating of five stars because once I started it, I could not put it down no matter what.
At first glance, Owen Reeder is your everyday normal teenaged boy, who loves to devour books (Not literally though :P). He gets bullied and pushed around like an unwanted piece of furniture, even in his own house. But beneath all this, there is more to Owen that even he does not know about. He is special and his unknown enemies know and are plotting to get rid of him. Soon, Owen knows that he is different by piecing together the whispers behind the wall of his house and when a stranger come in to his father's bookstore and gives him a beautiful, thick book, his life just got very, very dangerous.
I really want to read this now.
