The Princess and the Hound

By: Mette Ivie Harrison

A princess. A hound. A prince. What would it be like to have a pet that never left your side? What would it be like to be heir of a kingdom in which animal magic is shunned yet you have it? Mette Ivie Harrison’s The Princess and the Hound answers those questions. Very original and entertaining, this exciting novel is recommended to animal and fantasy lovers. There are also a couple of twists and turn that will keep you gripping onto the book and not want to let go.

Prince George is heir to a kingdom in which animal magic is forbidden but he has it and tries to keep it a secret. Princess Beatrice is from an enemy kingdom and is an ignored daughter and has no true friends but is inseparable from her hound. They would have never met each other if not for that they were betrothed because they have so little in common. They are more similar than they think because each has a secret that needs to be kept hidden at all costs. Each is proud and stubborn and are bound to marry for the good of their kingdom. Will the prince and princess live happily ever after or live in hate for the rest of their lives.
